About this Gallery

2022 was a year for building my vocabulary with fiber, gauze, and stitching and moving up in scale. I was interested in creating more value contrast within the work so started to painting the surfaces. Stitching and piecing became more important and I was exploring the ideas of patch and repair.  My new larger studio allowed me to work in a larger format, but I also still continued small “Mini” studies.

  • Much larger format – learning to scale up
  • Stitch becomes an important element
  • Adding gauze and value contrast
  • A stepping stone to even larger works
