This work demonstrates the crafting of a visual vocabulary through ongoing experimentation with burlap, gauze, and stitching. The pieces explore ideas and technique, and record changes in approach and focus.
While some pieces may reference patching and repair, others investigate the physicality of hessian. Some of the work emerges in response to current events, and others are purely process-driven experiments.
