I began this series in 2021 in response to studio spatial constraints. Through the process I recognized their potential as both autonomous works and generative studies. These 12″ squares serve as an experimental laboratory to develop material sensibilities and explore concepts that can evolve into larger works. Each functions independently yet gains resonance in groupings, allowing infinite curatorial possibilities.

Photography by Thomas Halfmann. With grateful thanks for capturing many of these works.
